MLCF to invest $110 million in healthcare sector
In a notification sent to PSX on 11/03/2024, Maple Leaf Cement Factory Limited (MLCF) announced the details of its investment in the healthcare sector.
NLCF has announced that it will invest $110 million in a state-of-the-art healthcare facility in Islamabad.
Novacare Hospital Limited (a wholly-owned subsidiary of MLCF) will manage the construction of a state-of-the-art hospital in Islamabad. It has signed an international affiliation agreement with Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, a leading UK teaching hospital group.
Where is the hospital located?
The hospital will be situated on a 50-kanal plot in DHA Phase-V Islamabad.
DHA Phase-V is a project of the Defence Housing Authority and while still under development, is considered a premium future investment by many real estate investors.
The hospital will have 250 beds and cover a total area of 550,000 square feet. Its tertiary healthcare services will span 28 different clinical services.
It is being designed by HKS, a leading global design firm.
The shares of MLCF were trading at Rs. 37.98 at market close today.
