KOHE establishing a wholly owned subsidiary for solar power generation

In a notification sent to PSX on 09/05/2024. Kohinoor Energy Limited (KOHE) has announced expansion into solar power with a new wholly-owned subsidiary.

Incorporation of a wholly owned subsidiary The Board of Directors of Kohinoor Energy Limited has accorded its approval through resolution by circular dated May 09, 2024 for incorporation of a wholly owned subsidiary Private Limited Company, subject to all applicable regulatory approvals. The subsidiary will be primarily engaged in business of PPA based Solar Power Plants. Pursuant to the requirements of the Securities Act, 2015, the Company has duly caused this form/statement to be signed on its behalf by the undersigned hereunto duly authorized.

The shares of KOHE were last trading at Rs 41.00 today.
