{"id":4535,"date":"2024-04-30T18:01:47","date_gmt":"2024-04-30T13:01:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ksestocks.com\/blog\/?p=4535"},"modified":"2024-04-30T18:01:50","modified_gmt":"2024-04-30T13:01:50","slug":"hcl-announces-intention-to-issue-right-shares","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ksestocks.com\/blog\/hcl-announces-intention-to-issue-right-shares\/","title":{"rendered":"HCL announces intention to issue right shares"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In a notification sent to PSX on 30\/04\/2024, Hallmark Company Limited (HCL) has announced a new right issue with the aim of strengthening Telecom Holdings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>The Board of Directors (\u201cBoard\u201d) of Hallmark Company Limited (the \u201cCompany\u2019) in its meeting held on 29 April 2024 have resolved that for the purpose of raising funds to finance the acquisition cost of the acquisition by the Company of Telecard Limited&#8217;s (\u201cTelecard\u201d) entire shareholding in Supernet  limited (\u201cSupernet\u201d) (i.e. 100,216,722 (One Hundred Million Two Hundred Sixteen Thousand Seven Hundred and Twenty two) shares constituting <strong>81.18%<\/strong> of the<strong> issued<\/strong> and <strong>paid-up capital<\/strong> of Supernet), in accordance with the Share Purchase Agreement entered into by the Company with Telecard, the Company intends, in the near future, to carry out a right issue of ordinary shares at face value in the aggregate amount of up to <strong>PKR. 400,000,000<\/strong>\/- (Pak Rupees Four Hundred Million) which are intended to be issued at a<strong> face value<\/strong> of <strong>PKR. 10<\/strong>\/- (as ultimately determined by the Board), subject to compliance with the applicable laws.
