Atlas Honda Limited (ATLH<\/a>) <\/strong>just wrapped up a strong year, and the company\u2019s management is feeling confident about what\u2019s next. Here’s what they had to say.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Record sales, bigger bikes doing the heavy lifting<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In FY25, Atlas Honda sold 1.2 million motorcycles<\/strong>, up 25% from last year. In fact, the last quarter was their best ever<\/strong>, with 360,000 bikes sold<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But it\u2019s not just more bikes, it\u2019s also bigger ones. Sales of 100cc and 125cc bikes<\/strong> are rising faster than the traditional 70cc models. Just a few years ago, 70cc bikes made up 90% of Honda\u2019s sales. Today, that number is closer to 50%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To match this shift, the company will launch two new high-engine-capacity models<\/strong>, fully developed by local R&D teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Going electric: Honda\u2019s first EV bike launches this week<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Honda is ready to enter the electric bike market<\/strong>. The company will roll out its first EV motorcycle this week<\/strong>, targeting the everyday commuter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What makes it different? Unlike others using cheap, non-lithium batteries, Honda\u2019s bike will feature lithium-ion tech<\/strong>, offering better safety and durability<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Initially, the EVs will be imported, but local production will begin once demand picks up<\/strong>. The management praised Pakistan\u2019s EV policy, calling it supportive for local manufacturing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Financial performance: sales and profits up<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In FY25:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Revenue:<\/strong> PKR 204 billion (\u2191 28% YoY)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Gross profit:<\/strong> PKR 22.2 billion (\u2191 81% YoY)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • EPS:<\/strong> Record-high of Rs 122.9<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Dividend:<\/strong> Rs 74\/share (\u2191 57% YoY)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Higher volumes, a better product mix, and a stable exchange rate helped margins rise to 10.9%<\/strong>, up from 7.7% last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Capacity, local parts & cost control<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Atlas Honda is using 1.2 million units<\/strong> of its 1.5 million production capacity<\/strong>, with an extra 300,000 bikes<\/strong> outsourced if needed. So, there\u2019s no need for new factories<\/strong> for now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Also, 85% of production costs are localized<\/strong>, especially for the 70cc segment, where 95% of parts are made locally<\/strong>. This helps reduce dependency on imports and protects against currency shocks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Exports & ESG: a bigger global footprint<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Honda exported 40,000 bikes<\/strong> this year, a strong sign of growing international demand<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The company also made progress on ESG goals<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • 700+ women trained as riders<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • CO\u2082 and water use per unit reduced<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • PKR 207 million donated<\/strong> for social causes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Looking ahead<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      Management is optimistic. Sales are expected to hit new highs again this year. Urban demand remains strong, and a recovery in rural areas<\/strong> could push numbers even higher.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      With a strong lineup, an electric launch, and stable margins, Atlas Honda is betting big on FY26<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
