PABC logistical disruptions to disrupt Afghan exports & local orders

In a notification sent to PSX on 22/05/2024. Pakistan Aluminium Beverages Cans Limited (PABC) has announced that the logistical shortage threatens revenue from Afghan exports.

We wish to inform you that due to ongoing security issues at Chamman, we are experiencing logistical disruptions and a shortage of vehicles for our exports to Afghanistan, which may impact revenue from Afghan exports. Coupled with the near 25% YoY decline in local order bookings, we expect a negative impact on our order bookings during the peak season.

PABC shares were last trading at Rs 68.25 today.
